Catachán (Caterina Turchi)

Catachán aka Caterina (Cat) Turchi was born in Italy and based in Co. Sligo, Ireland. Inspired by their uncle, they started playing guitar and singing at ten years old. Soon after they were writing their first songs in Italian and English.
In 2017 they signed with a label and released the EP Good Times. Unhappy with the label experience, they decided to go unsigned. In 2019 they moved to Ireland where they graduated in Music Production and Audio Engineering at BIMM Dublin.
In November 2021 they released their first self-produced album Tinned Tomatoes. In 2022 they released a self-produced the EP Songs That Are Good For Cyclying.
Cat is also a member of the punk band The Amniotics and is actively involved in the production of the bands' music.
