Improvised Music Company (IMC) is the Industry Partner for Improvising Across Boundaries. IMC is a resource organisation for jazz musicians and Ireland's premier producer of jazz and improvised music concerts and activities, working to develop and nurture the jazz scene, and create opportunities for artists at home and abroad. Established by musicians and supporters in 1991, IMC is primarily funded by the Arts Council of Ireland. Since early 2023, IMC now operates a small venue and rehearsal space for jazz music in Dublin city centre called The Cooler.

The Cooler is a new, landmark collaboration between IMC and multi-disciplinary arts venue The Complex, and a new home for jazz and improvised music in Ireland. www.improvisedmusic.ie
